Kim Delaney (born Kim Delaney) is an American actor who is best well-known for her character of detective Diane Russell in ABCs NYPD Blue in which she won an Emmy Award. Also, she has appeared in dramas such as All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Born as the only daughter of a high-ranking executive in the United Auto Workers and a household worker, Delaney was raised with four brothers. The idea of being a reporter for the court in the early years of her life, however she began modelling in high school and eventually gaining commercials when she moved into New York. Delaney was portrayed as a child's innocence in the soap-opera All My Children. Since then, Delaney has been in a variety of TV dramas and films. While she has a career success, her personal one is not as successful and happy. The actress, who is gifted and stunning, has had to battle drinking prior to that. She has also had marriages that ended in failure two times. Her custody in 2005 was removed from her.
